    Hi Greg

Audrey and I, with Kids in tow, are doing the Rail Trail Fun Run this weekend, on Sunday 12 July. It looks like fun, and although I am in no way associated with the event, I’ll give it a plug here: http://www.railtrailfunrun.com.au/

Interest and activity in the race will get completion of the rest of the trail network higher on the agenda for the councils in the region. More info about the trail is here: http://www.railtrails.org.au/states/trails.php3?action=trail&trail=91

    Hi

I am the owner/operator/coach of the Lazy Runner running clubs. I have seven clubs in South East Queensland with over 200 runners.
The Lazy Runner website www.lazyrunner.com offers running programs, tips and products and gets over 300 clicks a day.

One of the more popular pages is the race page, where I list lots of local, national and international races. Usually I research the races and put the info up myself.
Here is a sample of this years page http://lazyrunner.com/LWSC522×6697/145801.html

However, for 2010 I would like all events organisers to send me some details about their race ( date, distances, costs, a blurb etc and a link to their websites), all of which I will cut and paste to my race calender 2010 page

I am putting together my race calender for next year and I would love to list your race, so if you send me your race details I will place it on the page, I also put the next race coming up on the homepage of my website so I really do promote races

Lazy Runner has just branched into Lazy Runner Tours and we are looking for some fun and fascinating destinations for 2010, so feel free to suggest your race

    Thanking You
    Marie Bean

    Good morning,

Do you know when entries will open for the Mt Glorious run for this year?

    Thank you

    David

    Hi there

Pretty much none of your event information is updated for 2010.

Do you know when some of this might be available?

    Cheers

Hi Craig - sadly, that’s right. We’re a volunteer organisation, and we’re running a bit behind. We spend a lot of time arguing for the right to use trails, before we even get to organising the events, and the website has to wait on those two..

The calendar at the top of the Events page has the correct dates for 2010 events, and most will be the same format as the current links to 2009. Subscribing to the newsletter will also keep you up to date. Since we’re dashing from one job to the next, generally event details are updated about two months ahead of events. Glasshouse has been running longer, and Ian will usually get all three events online well before the first event in May.
