Once-a-year opportunity for an affordable visit to Queensland’s most beautiful offshore island. Limited places for 50 runners and 30 overnight walkers. Take advantage of our discounted return ferry which is included in entry (normally $65 return).

Definitely back for 2009. Your editor Greg ran it in 2006 and 2007 and can’t recommend it highly enough - its hard to go past a run through rainforest that finishes beside a seaside lagoon. Brisbanites should be watch out now for cheap airfares to Proserpine, or MacKay at a pinch - both offer buses to the start at Airlie Beach. Get fit before you go, it’s a tough 28km!
