More Great Walks for Queensland (more runs?)

Work is about to commence on four new Great Walks for Queensland, adding to the six already completed around the state. The new walks will be at the Conondale Range, Cooloola National Park, Carnarvon National Park and the Whitsunday Islands - all excellent choices and some of Queensland’s most spectacular natural scenery.

Glasshouse This Sunday 18th - Reminders…

Here are the links to the map and info-sheet. Remember, it starts at Woodford pool in Petersen St Woodford. Start times are 80k - 3am;  50k - 6am (early start negotiable at 5am); 30k - 7.30am; and 11k - 9am. Online entries are closed but you can enter on the day; to speed your registration up, download the form here and complete it before you go.

Wild Endurance 100 Blue Mountains - May 3-5

“Ran with SR on Saturday night and I had shorts and a short sleeve shirt and a cap. Others had long tights and two layers on the top plus gloves and beanies. As spud say’s it could well be very different weather this last weekend it was perfect for racing in the Blue Mountains, so be a good boy scout “Be prepared” - Brick, on Coolrunning
