On Sunday November 4th we will have an informal self-supported small-group run round the 36km Great Walk northern section. Meet at the carparking on Mapleton Forest Drive opposite the lilyponds and fish&chips shop, 7.30am. If you wish to run the shorter courses we had planned as part of the fun run, I’m happy to bring along maps of the 6/12km routes (avoiding all stream crossings and endangered frogs of course). As a result many sections of the trail which took the brunt of the storm were freshly carpeted with green leaves when we ran through next day. Read more
